1968 Pontiac Firebird

The Pontiac Firebird is available in 400 or the boss, H.O. or light heavyweight,
sprint or European thing, 350 or the Great American family sport, and the nifty
thrifty one. All Firebirds feature safety equipments from front to rear. The 400
comes in hardtop and convertible in 13 different colors, generating 330 horsepower

and air conditioning. The H.O. is the leading engine of the Firebird, delivering
320 horsepower. In this year the Quadra-jet carburetion was made standard, so
as the dual exhausts and all-synchro 3-speed. The sprint also features the all-synchro
3-speed with Hurst shifter. Overhead Cam Six that makes 215 horsepower is also
available as standard. The 350 runs with 265 horsepower, while the nifty thrifty
with only 175.
