1969 Pontiac Firebird

The Pontiac Firebird is available in Hardtop Coupe and Convertible, both comes standard in 5-passenger seating with optional 6th passenger bench type front seat for the Hardtop Coupe. Standard engine offered in the 1969 Pontiac Firebird generates 175 horsepower at 4800 rpm and 240 lb-ft at 2600 rpm of torque, the 223.

The optional engines include the Firebird Sprint, Firebird 350, firebird H.O., Firebird 400, Firebird 400 H.O., and Firebird Ram Air IV. All of these engines are equipped with manual 3-speed and Turbo Hydra-Matic and or manual 3-speed or automatic. Other features available include the 4-speed manual, 3.23:1 with air conditioning, 2-speed automatic or 3-speed Turbo Hydra-Matic, and 2.78:1 with air conditioning. The 4-speed manual is not available for the 3.08:1.
