Pontiac Firebird Picture
Pontiac Firebird is available in Hardtop Coupe or Convertible, both come as standard with 5-passenger
seating with 6th passenger bench type front seat for the Hardtop coupe. In 1989
the LB0 and L98 Trans Am Firebirds got the Lexan plastic tops, a lighter top with
darker tint and curvier shape. Firebird also featured upgraded base Eagle tires,
and introduced the 5-spoke wheels, including the base coupe in 1995. The available
colors include dark gray-green metallic, mystic teal, sebring silver, and dark
purple metallic. The interior features leather in graphite and tan.

All Pontiac Firebirds have undergone restyling and got new noses in 1991. It
was bit designed from Banshee, the fourth generation platform. The styling included
the Trans Am's ground effects. Hence the Firebird base model has available new
Trans Am ground effects. Fiberglass constructed flat wrap-around wing spoilers
was made available for both the Trans Am and Formula. The N10 dual cats were made
standard for all L98 vehicles. Two pieces of taillights were added to Trans Am
and GTA, with PONTIAC scripted in orange across the panels. The center high mounted
stop lamps were moved to inside top edge of the hatch.Another change was the body
sealants that gave more rigid look to the Firebird.
All Firebirds feature power antenna, remote mirrors, automatic door locks, power
windows with express down function on the driver's side, air conditioning, AM/FM
audio system with CD player, rear spoiler, power steering, tachometer, tires and
wheels, full-length center console, cruise control, electric rear window defroster,
fog lights, power hatch release, and concealed quartz halogen headlights. Also
featured for Firebirds with V8 engines is the power steering cooler.
